When they first met, Josh asked Lara "what is your favorite ice cream flavor?" ..at a bar in DC. Fast forward to their September wedding day, Lara spent the morning getting ready with the bridal party at her parents' home in Fairfax Station, Virginia while Josh suited up with his groomsmen at The Canopy hotel by The Wharf. They tied the knot with a traditional Catholic Ceremony at St. Dominic's Church before heading over to the International Spy Museum just in time for some golden-hour portraits. They had a large wedding party with ten bridesmaids and ten groomsmen - an awesome and fun group to cheer on L+J on their wedding day! The bridesmaids' lavender, off-the-shoulder dresses complimented Lara's wedding dress and the blush-colored bouquets seamlessly. The gorgeous people and details made it an incredible experience as I second shot for Caroline Lima, a widely published, Austin-based destination photographer. The party officially started with cocktail hour on the rooftop with a full champagne bar, calligraphy-on-vellum seating charts, and a 360-view of Washington. Guests were escorted to the reception (with drinks in their hands, of course) to welcome the wedding party's grand entrance. By grand - I mean a five-piece band playing cultural rhythms that joined the bride and groom the dance floor with all the guests surrounding them- in full Lebanese fashion!
